KIRANA is an interdisciplinary performance that has been designed to connect children with professional artists. Four professional artists from Malta travel to an international festival and conduct a 5-day workshop with the children from the city of the festival. The children contribute directly to the performance with their own rhythms, movements and language. Some of the scenes are supported by digital animation projections which breathe life into artworks created by children. KIRANA introduces children to a wide range of new artistic experiences: from contemporary music to percussion workshops, digital animation and light painting.
